It seems that this firm existed for a short time as an independent entity, probably from 1921 until 1926, when they merged with a business owned by H. G. Crane. We have seen 1931 and 1932 catalogs for W. B. & J. E. Boice, although the trademark registration for the Boice-Crane name dates to 1926; probably the Boice name had some currency, and was used for some years on products from Boice-Crane's Toledo operations.
